Good morning!
On Saturday, October 9, the Louisville Urban League and Good Food are joining to promote food justice through a Black Farmers’ Market Tour. This is an opportunity to eat local, learn about healthy food options, and support Black-owned businesses. In addition to the farmers, we will host an additional 15 black businesses to pop-up and sale their goods.

This event will be held outdoors. In the event of rain, all vendors will be moved indoors, but the event will happen, rain or shine. One (1) six-foot (6′) table will be provided to each vendor. Tables will be preassigned.

If you would like to participate as a youth-owned business OR an organization offering free educational resources to students and families, you must
  1. complete a vendor application at slc.lul.org/tables (you may have already done this for previous events. If so you don’t need to do it again); and then
  2. register for the event at slc.lul.org/vendorevents.
You cannot register for the event without first completing an application and creating an account.

We welcome you to join us Saturday, October 9 from 11am-1pm.

Our farmers’ market tour partners will observe all CDC guidelines related to COVID-19. Guests are encouraged to wear masks and hand sanitizer will be available. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you stay home.

Approved vendors may begin setting up at 9:45AM. Please contact [email protected] for any questions.
