Louisville now has a new mayor, but outgoing mayor, Greg Fischer, had some parting words for the city.Fischer released a video with a farewell speech on Tuesday. He spoke of creating more than 80,000 new jobs, with 3,000 new companies coming to Louisville during his tenure.He said this brought 20,000 more residents over the poverty line.Fischer also addressed the death of Breonna Taylor in the speech, saying that he worked to rebuild the community’s trust in the aftermath. Fischer closes his term as the 50th mayor of Louisville. He served three consecutive four-year terms beginning in 2010. Newly installed Mayor Craig Greenberg succeeds him.
